Customized IVF

In Vitro Fertilisation or IVF is a safe and effective method of fertilising the egg with specially prepared sperm in a laboratory followed by implanting the resultant embryo in your uterus, leading to a pregnancy.

What’s Customised IVF?

In vitro fertilization (IVF) has three basic stages.

  • Induction: Eggs are prepared in the ovaries using hormones given as injections
  • Oocyte Pick Up and Fertilisation: The eggs are then extracted from the ovaries and fertilised with sperm in a laboratory under strict quality-controlled settings
  • Embryo Transfer: The fertilised embryo is inserted into the uterus and results in a pregnancy

It typically takes 2-4 weeks to prepare for IVF, and the stimulation phase entails about 8-10 days of fertility shots and an egg retrieval is performed 2 days later.
